I’ve been reconditioning paint for some time now and I’ve had my share of all kinds of polishing machines from cheap rotary and DA machines to expensive ones. This machine though, this DPX Dual Action Polisher was everything to me and more. I own Rupes polishers. I also own a Makita rotary polisher. This DPX is very quiet for a DA. It sounds different from other DA’s I used. It’s lightweight. It says it’s a little over 5lbs but to me it feels lighter and I think that has to do with overall design and how the weight is evenly distributed throughout the entire machine from casing to parts. It’s well built. It has the power I need. This machine is fantastic. I used it out of box on a full two stage correction on a BMW over a two day period. I had zero issues in performance and it didn’t stall or lose power. Everything was consistent and smooth. I will order another one in the future here soon just to have a New In Box sitting on my shelf. If they can send me out a flawless box and plastic wrap the hell outta it then hell yeah lol so it doesn’t get damaged. But other than that, I am extremely happy with my purchase. I can assure you whether you been doing this for almost 10 years like me, maybe longer or if you’re brand new. For this price, this quality, this performance, you can’t find better. Buy it. Trust me. You’re gonna love it. You will appreciate the machine. I promise you. Also try out their Tripple All In One Polish. It’s a slick product. I love it.
